October is breast cancer awareness month and even though we use this month to highlight this cancer it affects so many people we know and love every day! Did you know…… 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime? there are 2.9 million breast cancer survivors living in the United States alone? 25% of women with Breast cancer are under the age of 50? AND…..that 98% of women survive with early detection!!! If you or someone you love has walked through this you know it takes a toll on them not only physically and mentally as well. My client had areolas done after her surgery but unfortunately it was not a good experience and left her with even more scarring and reservation about having them done. I'm so thankful she reached out to me and that we have started the process of restoration!! We will need 2 sessions to finish up and then we will do some work over her other scars as well.
