I just realized it's been a bit since I wrote an informational post soooo….let's talk! 🗣 DId you know…… Permanent makeup shouldn't be your "night on the town" makeup look? We want to maintain the integrity of your beautiful features so a good artist will only do what will age well. This means that sometimes you might want to add extra for a certain look! Example: brow pencils sit on top of the skin/hair so they will give a heavier makeup look. Tattoos are deposited under the skin and will be bold initially but will always heal softer. If done correctly your permanent makeup will look good for years to come and yes, there may be times you fill in with makeup but…..the main difference is you have a beautiful base to work with that will outline the perfect shape and on days you dont want to do anything you have beautiful soft enhancements!! A true Permanent Makeup Artist will always do what's best for you long term! Choose wisely

One of my favorite things about what I do is meeting amazing women every day and getting to know their stories. This gal sat in my chair and immediately I loved her sweet spirit and gracious demeanor. But her resilience in dealing with Trichotillomania is what caught my attention most. This condition causes the person to obsessively pull out body hair. It can be anywhere on the body but the scalp, brows and eyebrows are typically common places to pull. The person simply can not "just stop" and often feels guilty after realizing what they have done. She has been dealing with this for so many years and came in to see me! We started with her brows and now on to eyeliner. When she came in last week one of the first things she said to me was "I'm OK with you sharing my story if it will help other women" and I was so glad she was ready!!! One of my favorite things about what I do is meeting amazing women every day and getting to know their stories.
