Warning long post ahead…. When I decided to change careers and work in the beauty industry, it was because of a passion I have for making women feel beautiful. We put way too much pressure on ourselves and more often than not put everyone first. One of the most important things we can do is take care of ourself and do things that make us feel good. Since becoming a microblading artist I have witnessed a lot of bad work or people working without the proper insurance or licenses and I often get messages about how expensive microblading is. In reality if you break down the time an artist spends on each client (on average 6 hours) plus training, equipment, inks, supplies, rent for a room to work out of, insurance and licensing (must be governed by the health department and have a tattoo license) the cost is actually very reasonable. I know people who will hand over a small fortune for a tattoo for their arm or back (Btw you should if you want good work!!) but will reconsider the cost of getting eyebrows tattooed on your FACE!! I'm saying all of this to say please be careful when choosing someone to do your brows. Cheap brows are never cheap in the long run. Brows are a big decision and when done correctly can enhance your natural beauty and increase your confidence. It can be quite the opposite if you choose to get a discounted face tat! 😬 Of course I'd love to do your brows but if not then choose an artist who works with integrity. There are a lot of great artist but just as many or more bad ones. ️
